The next was Thomas, the scab of the family, a torment to his brothers from boyhood to his death and a torment to his wife and children. His oldest son, Isaac, was a discreet well behaved young man. He was in the same vessel with George Jordan and she was never heard from. His two sons, William and Thomas, were wild drinking men in their young days like their father, but never so bad nor half, though Thomas, when I was in St John 30 years ago was a steady Christian man.
