The death of Mrs W. H. Dennis widow of the late Hon. W. H. Dennis, former Minister of Agriculture in the P. E. Island Government occurred at the old homestead in O'Leary yesterday. Mrs. Dennis, who was in her 89th year had hte misfortune to have a hip broken about a year ago since which time she had been more or less bedfast although apparently in fairly good health. The deceased lady was the former Annie Ellis of Tyne Valley, a daughter of Mr and Mrs William Ellis.

Surviving sons are Cecil with who she resided in O'Leary, W. Melburn, formerly with the Geodetic Survey, Ottawa and now retired; Clinton, now actively engaged with the Survey at Ottawa and J. g. Dennis, secretary of the Co-operative Services, Charlottetown. the following daughters also survive: Mrs. Neil MacDonald (Iva) and Mrs B. H turner (Dona) both of whom reside in O'Leary.

Funeral at O'Leary - funeral service for the late Mrs. W. H. Mr. Bayfield Ellis of' Charlotte- town was in O'Leary to attend the funeral of his aunt, the late Mrs. William Dennis.
