The death occured at her late residence 116 Cumberland Street, City, on Saturday morning, September 18th of Mrs. William H. Auld in her eighty fourth year. the deceased was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Archibald McFadyen was born at Kingston where she resided until eight years ago.

The late Mrs. Auld had enjoyed a lifetime of abundant health and strength until nineteen months ago when she sustained a fractured hip from which she never fully recovered and after having spent some time in the Prince Edward Island Hospital was allowed to return to her home where she remained bedfast until on the above mentioned date when all that was mortal of a Christian life, a kind and loving mother and friend, ever ready and willing to help inn time of need, answered the call of her Saviour..

There are left to mourn her passing her only daughter, Edna, Mrs John C McNevin, Cornwall; her daughter-in-law Mrs. Allison A. Auld, Charlottetown, with whom she resided, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; also one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Mann of Kensington. Her husband and only son predeceased her.
