Arthur Garfield, born 1882, was baptized in 1893 as the son of Thomas and Mary J McArthur. But - he said his parents were Thomas and Eliza on his marriage record to Estella/Stella Halliday in Nova Scotia in 1905 - and Eliza was the name of his mother on the 1891 census.
When his son Ralph died in 2014, Ralph's obituary said he was predeceased by sisters, Adeline Crowe, Bertha Perry and Dorothy Roode; brothers, Bert, Malcolm, and Alfred.
