Anne Eliza Sharpe, a spinster, married Thomas Dennis at the home of John McArthur. Jeremiah McArthur and Mary Dennis were witnesses. It is assumed that she is the Ann Eliza, adopted daughter of Dougald McArthur, and that John and Jeremiah were her brothers.
Her son gave her name as Ann McArthur on his marriage record, and the family also put that name on his death record. Her gravestone does not give her maiden name.
