Reuben Dickieson (1866-1950) married Mary Hall Colson, daughter
of John Colson of Long River, New London. She died on April 13, 1890 at the age of twenty three years, and is buried in Wilmot Valley. On November 1, 1898, at the Methodist Parsonage in Summerside, he married Armenilla A. (Nellie) Clark, daughter of Charles and Mary Ann (Lefurgey) Clark, and sister of Fred Clark. Reuben farmed at the homestead until 1909 when he and Nellie moved west of Summerside. They later moved to Mill Valley and retired in Kensington. Being a great horse trader Reuben was frequently heard to say, "I like a horse with lots of style!" (Bridge to the Past)
