William Henry (b. September 1855) married Jane Rebecca Gamester, daughter of William and Sarah (Barrett) Gamester of Springfield Lot 67 and had ten children: Henry, Melissa Jane "Jennie", William Spurgeon, James Havelock, Charlotte Elizabeth, Alfred, John W, Mary Ann Maria, Leslie Adams, Fidelia and Leonard. William died on 2 February 1923, Old Town, Maine.
The local paper recorded William's death (from PEI ancestry):
Mr. Lewis A. Wickett of Kelvin received a telegram Saturday announcing the sad news of the sudden death of his brother William H. Wickett (Stillwater, Maine), on Friday, Feb. 2nd. He was 67 years of age. The late Mr. Wickett was born in Granville, Lot 21, P.E.I. and some thirty years ago he moved with his wife and family to Stillwater, Maine, where he resided until his death. Besides a heart broken wife, he leaves seven sons and four daughters, and brothers and sisters: Humphrey D., Thomas A., and Penrose H., all of Oldtown, Me., Alfred E., of Valley Park, Missouri, Richard H. of Fredericton, N.B., and Lewis A., of Kelvin, P.E.I. The sisters are Mrs. Josephine MacKenzie pf Springfield, P.E.I., Mrs. Bernard Paynter of Long River, P.E.I., Mrs. Thomas Dolan, of Oldtown, Me., and Mrs. H. C. Woods, of Magraith, Alta.
