The marriage was solemnised in Summerside on Wednesday evening last, of Miss Alberta McKinnon, Mount Pleasant, and Robert L. England, 0'Leary The ceremony was performed by Rev. J D Wetmore. Mr and Mrs England will live at 0leary.
In 1911, Robert and his wife Alberta were living with his parents in Springfield, Lot 7.

In 1921, their children were Eva, 14; Della, 13; Jean, 11; Elizabeth, 6 (transcription error - should be Claretta); Olga, 5; Beryl 2/12. By 1931, Jean was 21; Claretta, 16; Olga, 15; Beryl, 10 and Lorraine, 7.

The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1956. Serving were their four daughters, Mrs. Dell England Providence RI; Claretta (Mrs. Cecil Palmer) Charlottetown; Olga (Mrs. Fred Cordwell) Halifax; Miss Lorriane England, Springfield. Among the guests were Mrs. Lucy McIntosh, Norfolk Va; Mrs. Sarah Hutchinson, Ellerslie, sisters of Mrs. England, and Mr. England's only sister, Mrs. Ella Dyment of Summerside.

Robert died in Stewart Memorial Hospital on 2 October 1962 in his 86th year. He was the son of Robert England and Tamar MacDougall England of Springfield West. In 1906, he married the former Alberta MacKinnon of Mount Pleasant. Besides his widow, he leaves to mourn the following daughters: Eva, Boston; Della, Rhode Island; Jean, Montreal; Claretta (Mrs C. R. Palmer), Charlottetown; Olga (Mrs F. D. Cordwell) Halifax; Beryl (Mrs William Cook), Edmonton; Lorraine and Donalda at home; one sister, Mrs Ella Dyment, Summerside.
