Alberton Resident Dies In Saint John ALBERTON -— George Oliver died at his home in Saint John, N.B. early Sunday morning. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Oliver. he was born near Alberton 78 years ago. Following his marriage to Ida Ramsay of Rosebank. they lived at South Kildare for a time before moving to Massachusetts. For several years Mr Oliver was a member of the US Navy. Later he and Mrs Oliver returned to Alberton. For five of six years he ws the mail courier on rural route 1 and then served as town policeman for aprox. 7 years. Leaving Alberton some 24 years abo the family lived in Monroe Maine before moving to Saint John.
Mr Oliver is survived by his wife, one daughter Mrs William Craig (Gertrude).
