Williams family trees say that this daughter, Hannah Josephus, was the Sophia Josephus Williams who married Charles Palmer. The two first baptismal records were for Charles and Hannah, and the rest were Charles and variations of Sophie. In the 1901 census, Sophia Palmer's date of birth was 23 October 1857. Two wives? The obituary for Mrs Charles Palmer said her name was Sephy Palmer, and Sephy seems like a nick-name for Josephus. it is possible that her children thought it was short for Sophia..

Charles Palmer, son of George Palmer of Lot 11, and Hannah Josephus Williams of Lot 12 were married in Port Hill on April (6th?) 1879. Robert Ellis was the only witness name that was legible. In the 1881 census in Lot 5. Charles and Hannah were living with Edith Bell (20 May 1879) and Walter (born 9 Jul 1880). In the PEI Baptismal Index, Edith and Walter were the children of Charles and Hannah. The rest of their children were baptized as the children of Charles and Sephy or Sophia.

Charles and Sephy were in the 1891 census with Edith (12), Walter (10), George Kendall (8), Charles Clifford (7), Celia (5); John D. (3) and Eleanor Agnes (1).

In 1901, Walter (21), George (18), Clifford (16), Celia (14), John (12), Agnes (10), Sophia (8), Annie (7), Bessie (6), Alice (4), and Frederick (1).

In 1911: John D. (22), Annie (17), Bessie (16), Alice (14) and Frederick Reagh (11).

Frederick Reagh was Raymond (20) in the 1921 census, and was the only son living with Charles and Sephy.
