Note
Although Peter Mcdougall and his wife Marion had more than one son Duncan, and at least one daughter, no other relationships have been proven. I am attaching Ann to these parents, although I have no proof.
However, the names given to her children might suggest a connection to this branch of the Mcdougalls - her first daughter was Marion, and her second son was Peter.
We know from an early census of PEI that there were young women in the Peter McDougall household.
Based on the dates of birth of her children, unless the youngest were adopted, I would propose that the age on her gravestone was out by almost 10 years. If this was the family of Malcolm McArthur in Lot 12 in the 1841 census, then there was no woman over 60, which Ann would be if she was born the year indicated on her gravestone.
