Mrs. Laura Phillips passed peacefully on the morning of 3 September 1942 after several months of indifferent health. She was the daughter of Nathaniel McArthur and his wfie Martha Hardy of Bideford, Lot 12 and since her marriage to Wm. Henry Phillips had resided in Arlington. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Clarence and James at Arlington; Miss Ina at home and Mrs. Everett Ramsay of Hamilton.
Two brothers, Robert E. McArthur of Everett Mass, and Loman McArthur of Sherbrooke, and one sister, Mrs. Chas. Edward MacDonald, birch Hill.
