Annie reported having had 5 children, 4 surviving, in the 1900 census. Mabel does not appear in that census with the family, so she was likely the child who had died. In the next census, Annie said five children, of whom 3 were living - there was a death record for a Florence G. Brace in the Bronx who died in 1906, and it looks like she was the second daughter who died young.
