Note
Joseph was not in the PEI Baptismal Index, and he was not living with Hugh and Mary in 1881. Hugh Waldon was the head of household in Lot 7 in 1861, and there was a boy of Joseph's age - no married couple, however.
Joseph said, on his Massachusetts marriage record, that his parents were Hugh Waldron and Mary Williams. He was born 31 Oct 1858, on Prince Edward Island. If that date is correct, he would have been born almost 10 years before his parents' marriage.
When John James Waldron died, the newspaper said he was Hugh and Mary's eldest son.
Joseph's wife Catherine Mary (Howard) was a widow by 1910. He could be the Joseph P. Waldron who died in Georgia in 1909.
