"Nathan, a twin brother of Alexander, was born on November 13, 1805 and died on January 1, 1886. On January 15, 1845 he married Margaret Silliker (1818-1889). They lived in Fernwood on the farm recently known as the Charles MacFarlane farm. Nathan and Margaret were buried in North Bedeque Cemetary. They had four daughters and three sons:"
