Thomas Humphrey and Maggie J. Stavert were married on January 4 1881 by license by the Rev. Robert Patterson. Witnesses were James Stavert and Catherine Humphrey.
Summerside Journal 1881 January 20 page 3: At North Bedeque on the 4th inst. by Robert Patterson, Thomas J. Humphrey of Kelvin Grove to Maggie J. eldest daughter of Mr. Walter Stavert of the same place.
