Note

John Woodside, son of Andrew who came to P.E.I, in 1770, was born in 1806 and died in 1894. He married Janet Pickering, 1808-They had the following family: James P., 1833-1838; Thomas Bently, 1847- 1 8 7 0 ; Alexander, 1857-1885; John, 1852-1942; Andrew, 1834-1914; Jane Jackson, 1841-; and William Pickard 1844-.

John lived on the Woodside Road and his land was east of the land now owned by Hillard Woodside. It was taken over by his son Andrew, who married Sophia Humphrey, 1840-1920.

She was a sister of Charles Humphrey, also of Clinton. They had one son Leslie, 1863-1940. Andrew lived on the Woodside Road and moved out near the New London Road before the 1900s.

This house was demolished in 1971.
