H u g h Carr*
(1812-1886) was born at Carr's Pond, Lot 14. H e married Sophia Ramsay (1815-1888) and moved to his own farm at Carr's Corner around 1838. T h e y had five children: Rev.
Arthur, Judge J o h n R., George Washington*, Robert, and Martha. Hugh Carr was an elder of the Lot 16 Presbyterian Church for many years.
