Son of Hall Profit McArthur and Catherine Williams.

In the 1920 US census, Theodore, a fireman, was living with his wife Esther and no children. In the next census, they had a son Roy (age 16) and Margaret (14).

In the 1930 census, Theodore said he had been married for the first time at 18, or 17 years before; this fits with the statement he made on his WW1 registration form, that he was married with two children. Esther said she had been married at age 22, or 10 years before.

Roy and Margaret McArthur were in the 1920 US census, boarding with the family of Howard Harris in Washington State, and their mother Lucile MacArthur. Lucille said she was a widow. Also in the household was Ray Wolfe, and in the 1930 census, Ray's wife was Lucille. From this, I gather that Theodore was married at least three times, to Lucille, Esther and Hazel, and that Lucille was the mother of Roy and Margaret.
