The following is an extract from the Perth Amboy Chronicle dated Oct 7: Word was received in this city Saturday night that Major Ramsay, formerly a local resident had died in the King's County hospital of typhoid fever. Mr Ramsay was the son of Mrs Donald Ramsay and a brother of J. F. Ramsay, Summerside.
