Wm WELLS, Alberton, P.E.I. was married to Miss Jane BRANDER of Newcastle (North. Co.) last Wednesday eve. at the residence of John BRANDER, brother of the bride and was performed by Rev. Niel McKay of Chatham. The bride was assisted by Jane RAMSAY daughter of Charles RAMSAY while Wm ROBINSON of Newcastle attended the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Wells left Wednesday night for their home on the Island where Mr. Wells is proprietor of a large farm and several mills.
