Margaret M. McDougall filed a suit against her husband, Isaac J. McDougall for a divorce. She alleges that he has been so drunk for the past five years that it has kept him unable to do anything toward keeping the wolf from the door. She prays the court for separation from such deadwood and asks the custody of their twelve year old daughter Rena. Reno Gazette Journal 27 March 1907 pg 5
Guardian MARGARET AHART Another former Prince Edward lsiander" to pass away in Oakland on April 16, was Mrs. Margaret Ahart (MacDougall) says the Oakland Maple leaf. She was a native of McNeill's Mills, in the western part of the Island,- her maiden name being Margaret Ingles. Her first husband was Isaac McDougall also a native of PEI. They had one daughter Rena, now Mrs Lagerquist, Oakland and granddaughter Mrs Dorothy Matheson, Oakland.
Surviving sisters in PEI are Mrs J. Addison Miller, Charlottetown (Flora); Mrs William L. MacDonald (Mary Lavenia) and Mrs Leslie Smith, and one brother Roy Ingles.
