Mrs Florence A MacDougall, 83, widow of James E, MacDougall, 15 Orchard street, died today at the Whitehall Nursing home, Haverhill, following a long illness She was born in Grand Dessert, Halifax county, Nova Scotia, Feb 17, 1876 She was the daughter of Catherine A (Murphy) and Andrew J Conrad, and had lived in Merrimac since August, 1898 She was active in affairs of the Presbyterian and Orange’ lodge auxiliary in her home town and was an active member of the Pilgrim Congregational church and of the Ladies circle here She was a member of the Rose Standish group of the Women guild...survived by her children and 19 grand-children.
