Unable to find Ann's first marriage to John Ramsay in the PEI Marriage Registers. One source says she married the son of John Ramsay and Martha Owen, but the dates don't match and he died unmarried. It seems more likely that she married the son of Margaret Penman and "Justice John" Ramsay, whose family lived in Port Hill.

In 1881, Annie Ramsay was a widow, living next to the household of Levi Dyment in Lot 13. Annie was age 56 in the 1891 census.

Anne didn't have any surviving children, but she and Levi adopted Milcie Davida.

Ann wrote her will on August 28 1899. She named her husband Levi and adopted daughter "Milcy Dwada".
