Narrative
Mary Jane born 15th June 1850, child of Neil and Barbara Ramsay of Tatamagouche, Blacksmith, was baptized this 21st day of February 1861 Charles Elliott A.B. Rector
Mary Jane was age 18 and living with her parents in Nova Scotia in 1871. She was alive in 1887, when her brother Archibald wrote his will. She was probably a single woman at that time because he didn't add a married name. She wasn't living with her mother in 1891.
Therefore, she isn't the Mary Ramsay from Summerside who married Samuel Gould in 1868, or the Mary Jane Ramsay who married Richard Wickett in 1869.
Elizabeth's death notice says two sisters, Martha and Annie Laura, most likely. Martha's obituary in 1926 lists only one surviving sister, Annie.
