Oliver Ryder at sixty-two years oi age after an illness of some months. Mr. Ryder was a prcmln- ent farmer in the district and a strong Conservative; a, staunch worker for his party. He was born in Tignish. a son of the late John Ryder of that place and Mary Fowler, his wife. When Oliver was about twelve years of ago the family moved to St. Nicholas...He married a daughter of Mr and Mrs Crawford McAusland of Wellington, who survives him. There are left to mourn three daughters, Mrs John Black of Alberton, Miss Ruby and Miss Doris at home and two sons, Nelson and Sterling.
