There passed away at Tyne Valley on June 16 Jabez Williams, son of the late Uriah Williams and Frances Wallace of Tyne Valley, PE Island.
The late Mr Williams was born at Tyne Valley on October 22 1858. In his early boyhood he worked on his father's farm in Tyne Valley, later going to the United States where he practiced carpentry. After several years spent in the States, he returned to his old home district, marrying Melinda Ramsay, daughter of the late Robert Ramsay of Freeland, Lot 11. The happy couple were blessed with a large family of 11 children.
