Third marriage was to Henrietta Hayward, in Montana in 1889. They had five children: Ethel (died young) Charlotte Bell, Pearl (died young), Lester, Henry and Ruth.

Thaddeus was back in Canada for the 1891 census - a single man? - with his daughter Clara, age 8, and then back in the States by 1900. Lottie was born in 1891 - perhaps Henriette had gone to live with her mother and father.
