Henry Ellis (1831), son of John and Elizabeth (Campbell) Ellis of Bideford, at a young age, moved to Northam and later married Clarissa Glover (1839) of Tyne Valley. Their children:
-Thaddus (1860) married Maria Caldwill of Taunton, Mass., and had two children: Edgar and Clara May. Second marriage was to Jenny Hayward of Miles City, Montana and they had one daughter, Daisy, who died at a young age. Third marriage was to Henritta Hayward They had fivechildren: Ethel (died young) Charlotte Bell, Pearl (died young) Lester, Henry and Ruth.
-Mindella (1861) married Urban Paugh of Northam and had one son, William Clifford.
-Thomas Edward (1863)
-John William (1865) married Eliza Ellen Turner of Minneapolis, Minn. They had four children: Rubina, Gertrude, Mabel and Willard.
-Mary Menetta (1866) married Charles David Hunter of Nova Scotia and moved to Tacoma, Wash. They had six children: Annie, Lillian, Edith, Mandella, Doris and Ada.
-Emma Jane (1869) married Dyer Dyment of O'Leary. They moved to Boston in 1888. In 1893 they moved to Tacoma, Wash. They had eight children: Stella, Harry Roy (died young), Ray, Emma, Thaddus, Lloyd and Lois.
-Arthur Dyer (1872) married Annie Laurie MacArthur of MacNeill Mills, moved to Kent, Wash, and had four children: Myrtle, Thelma, Hazel and Err Arthur.
-Francelia(1875)

Thomas Ellis (not married) lived on, and farmed this farm until his death. The property was then
bought by Athol Colwill.
