A Bridge to the Past, the history of Wilmot Valley mentions a Maxfield family from the Bedeque area. Some of the Maxfields went to Salt Lake City:
"Richard Maxfield, nephew of the emigrant John Maxfield and about fourteen years of age when he left Prince Edward Island, writes about his experience. At the time of writing (1917) he is eighty-one years of age and living in Salt Lake City, Utah."
A Mrs Waite died in 1866, at the home of her grandson, John Ramsay, Summerside. Would this be Ann's mother?
