Walsh was 50; she and Matthew had children Priscilla, Beatrice, Lydia, James, Miriam, and Catherine. By 1930, Maria and Matthew were on their own again.
Her obituary was published in the Boston Globe February 18 1945: In Hull, February 17 Myria D. wife of Matthew McLearn in her 76th year.
