Mary Jane was age 16 and living with her uncle Donald and aunts Mary and Marion in Lot 16 in 1881, under the name Mary Jane Campbell. She married Moses Flanders in 1895 at the home of Donald Campbell, Lot 16.

Jennie and Moses had children Edgar Everett (b. 1897 d. 1917), Ella Maud (b. 1901, d. 1901), Marion Elizabeth (b. 1905) and Florence Mildred (b. 1898) in Massachusetts. On these records, her place of birth was PEI. In 1910, Jennie said she had been born in Massachusetts, parents born in Canada, married 14 years, with 4 children, 3 living. At home were Edgar, Florence, and Marion.

Jennie was working as a nurse in Merrimac, Massachusetts, living with her daughter Marion. She and Moses were divorced a couple of years later, but Jennie said on census records that she was a widow.

In 1930, Jennie was living with her youngest daughter and two boarders. On this census record, Jennie said she had emigrated in 1888, and married for the first time at age 20 or 22. Jennie, age 72 and born in Canada, was living with her daughter Marion, age 34, in Merrimac Town, Massachusetts in 1940. Marion was a stenographer at the Post Office.
