Daughter of Archibald Montgomery and Mary Ramsay.
On Wednesday, the 8th instant, at the residence of the bride’s father, by the Rev. Mr. Fraser, Mr. William Phillips, of Lot 14, to Miss Christy Montgomery, daughter of Mr. Archibald Montgomery, of Port Hill. Islander October 24 1856

1906 Christy, beloved wife of Mr. Philips, and only survlving daughter of the late Archibald Montgomery Port Hill at the advanced age of 78 years. The deceased possessed many amiable and Christian qualities. The stranger was always received ather home with kindness. She leaves to mourn her loss besides her husband one son Alfred, at home, and two daughters, Mrs James Millar, Port Hill and Emily in Worcester, Mass. Archibald Montgomery of Portland.
