In 1916, George and Alice were living in Saskatchewan, and in 1921 in Brisith Columbia.

There passed away at the hospital, Smithers BC on Monday January 18 1932 of of the rarest spirits and most beautiful characters in the person of Mrs. George Oulton. Relatives and friends in Glenwood, Brae and surrounding districts were shocked and grieved when a telegram came conveying this sad news. She had entered the hospital January 13th and undergone an operation for appendicitis and although skilful medical attendance and tender nursing was provided in an effort to save her life, God decreed otherwise and on the above date she was called to her Heavenly Home. It is difficult to understand and realize the anguish and sorrow in this home where the mother is so suddenly snatched away by death. it inflicts a wound which time alone can heal but God's ways are unsearchabkle and we must bow in submission to His holy will.

Mrs Oulton was before her marriage Miss Alice Gorrill of Glenwood PE Island and will be remembered as one of the kindliest and sweetest of women, a choice personality that radiated sunshine wherever she went and keenly devoted to anything she could do to further the Master's Kingdom.

In the year 1905 she with her husband and family moved to Waldeck Sask., where she endeared herself to all with whom she came in contact. In 1918 they went to Smithers, BC where they have since resided and where she made a host of warm and loyal friends.

She was keenly interested in everything which tended towards the betterment of the community. Ever a friend whose acts of kindness were innumerable who loved to share another's burden and help them. One can truly say she was rich in deeds of kindness, in abundant faith and a joyful christian life. The United Church was over-crowded...

Sincere sympathy is felt for the sorrowing husband, deprived of her compansionship and family consisting of three daughters, Mrs. John Paul, Stella and Evelyne (Olive having predeceased her) and three sons, Garfield, Ray and Leslie; also three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Oulton, of Brae Harbour, PEI; Mrs Mary Moreshead, Sydney, CB; Mrs Ella Warren, Nantasket, Mass; and seven brothers, Lincoln, Belyea, Sask; Garfield and Irving, Ponteix, Sask; Alfred, Simeon, Amos, and Thomas of Glenwood.
