Based on her date of birth, and where she was living, I am making the assumption that the Mary Ramsay who married William Birch in 1839 was the daughter of Donald Ramsay and Mary Cannon - her widower husband William Birch was later living in the household of his son in law and daughter, Thomas and Susan Sullivan, next to Hugh and Johanna Ramsay in Lot 13.

The names they gave their children don't give a clue as to who her parents might be.
