Mina Catherine was the daughter of Donald McLean and Sarah Ellis. She married Henry Williams.

The community was deeply saddened on Tuesday Jan 18th to learn of the passing of Mrs Henry Williams at the age of seventy-four years at her home in Elmsdale. She was a woman of sterling qualities of mind and heart, ever ready to assist anyone in need and many there are who will recall some kindness or favor received from this highly respected woman. She leaves to mourn her husband, four sons: Hugh and David of Elmsdale; Edgar of Alberton and Earl of New York. Guardian 7 Feb 1944 page 7
