Many friends in the surround- ing communities were sorry to learn of the passing of Mrs. Samuel MacArthur at her residence in Hamilton on May 5th at the age of 88 years. The funeral service was held at her late residence on Tuesday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. Mr. Crowdis and Mr. John Carson,
Survived by two daughters, both in Boston, and brothers and sisters Alice, Hattie, George, Will and Major Taylor all of Hamilton.
