Dyment, Tamar 1a

Birth Name Dyment, Tamar
Gender female
Age at Death 14 years, 1 month, 12 days

Narrative

In the 1881 census, the child born in 1874 (age 7) in this family was female - her name was difficult to read, but could have been Tamar. Tamar was buried with her brother John, and the gravestone said "children of John and Margaret" - not sons. Tamar was usually a girl's name, from the bible, and I believe that Tamar was a daughter.
