The family tree on the Isand Register, The Descendants of James Smith and Mary Carr by Ira Smith, says the children of Michael and Ann were James, Malcolm, Hugh, Katherine, Elizabeth, Flora, Helen and Ann. This is repeated in the recent history of Port Hill, Launched.

Presbyterian church records in the parish started about 1821, and there were four children in the PEI Baptismal Index: Katherine (1820), Flora (1822), Helen (1832), and Amos/Emos (1834). Michael Ramsay Jr.'s parents were on his death record in Ontario - he died in Toronto on 23 February 1889, aged 70. Marion Ramsay was living with a nephew in 1891. James was the father of Artemis Ramsay and the history of Belmont, Lot 16 said that Glen and Claude Ramsay, sons of Artemis, were the grandsons of Michael Ramsay and Ann Smith.

Nancy's death notice said 9 children: 6 girls and 3 boys, all alive in 1867. The three sons could be James, Michael and Amos, and the girls were Flora, Katherine, Helen, Marion, and Ann, and perhaps also Elizabeth.

Michael and Malcolm Ramsay were on a rent roll for Lot 13, date of settlement 1775. This might be the date that their father Donald Ramsay arrived in the lot.

At Lot 13 on the 16th inst Michael Ramsay in the 64th year of his age, after a short but severe illness which he born with Christian resignation. Haszard's Gazette 30 March 1852
