Note
Some sources say Mary was a young woman who was raised by the Ramsays. It is possible she was a fellow passenger on the Annabella.
It is assumed that Donald and Mary married after their arrival on the Island, or after 1770.
Mary was probably the widow Ramay in Lot 13 in the 1798 census.
The name Michael in this family might have come from Mary's side of the family: all of the other known children had names that can be associated with the Ramsay side of the family.
