Note
There is a family tree on the Island Register that includes Sarah Ellis and Robert Ramsay, which is The Descendants of William Ellis.
Sarah was a spinster and Robert a bachelor when they married, so I'm not sure about the first marriage for Sarah that was listed on the Island Register tree. It wasn't in PEI Marriages from 1856-1867. "At the residence of the father of the bride, Lot 13, by the Rev. H.B. Swabey, on Thursday the 30th ult., Mr. Robert Ramsay, of Lot 13, to Sarah, third daughter of Mr. James Ellis, Senr. The Islander May 1863" The marriage was also reported in the Examiner, May 11 1863, page 3.
No entries were found in the PEI Baptismal Index for any children of Robert and Sarah. But the children's names and ages on the Island Register tree match those in the 1880 US census and other US records.

Euphanie Ramsay, daughter of Robert and Sarah, died 2 May 1875, an infant of 2. Euphanie had been born in PEI; son Frank was born in Massachusetts in 1875. Robert Ramsay born 17 Oct 1876 in Belmont Massachusetts.

In the 1900 US census, Sarah Ramsay was the head of household in Waltham City, Massachusetts. She had been the mother of 11 children, of whom 8 were alive in 1900. The family had emigrated in 1874. Frank (25), Emma (22) and Hannah (20) were at home. Inn 1910, Sarah was living in Sacramento with her daughter and son in law Thomas McDougall. On this record, she said 11 children, 7 living.
